It seems to me that just about everyone finds a key to life at some point. We all need a means of getting by, something to hold in our hands and something we can jangle around in public when we're nervous. We can reach into our pockets and feel its there, and this brings comfort. Our keys are tied to everything we own and allow us to reach home, work, and play. This metaphorical key everyone must find acts similarly providing a unifying element for all our spiritual activities and meanderings. For everyone its different, and no one's key can be duplicated, but the true difficulty is finding where our keys go. That is, its an easy thing to manifest one's own key to life, but its a cramped crawl through the dark to find the door to transcendence. Which brings out the truth, some people make better windows than doors.
