General Guidelines
Right well lets see armour is an essential part of some cosplay dress uniforms witch are ment to be aceptable to thats moronic and the idea of making furrys who are already wearing a full body suit have to wair a suit over the top is outraguse like its not going to be hot enough as is they have to wear ball clother OVER there fur?????????
After what I have experienced with the Kitacon guys and the over all look of this con it looks like this will be my last amecon. I just don't wont to be giving these assholes my money anymore especially since they put very little of it back into the con or from what I see, I love the anime sean but these people act like pathetic little school children and I have had enough. I will try other anime cons and if I ever have enough money to fully enjoy minami I wouldn't mind going to that but as far as amecon is concerned they can go fuck themselves.
General Guidelines
- NO TRAINERS - Choose smart shoes or period-applicable footwear; this includes no big gothic boots etc.
- CONBADGE ON DISPLAY - You're not getting in without this on show, please have it on display ready as not to hold up the line.
- NO ARMOUR, NO WEAPONS - You're going to a ball, not to war. It's dangerous while dancing and takes up space. Anything not accepted won't be able to be left at the door, so just don't bring it.
- NO FULL FACE MASKS - We've outlines below what type of masks are okay, consult that for answers.
- CLOTHING SHOULD BE PRESENTABLE - Smart is what we're going for here; clothes should be clean, ironed, shirts tucked in, ties tied etc.
- NO FURSUITS - Unless you're wearing ball-applicable clothing over the top. Animals should be smart too.
- LOW EXPOSURE - No potential flashing, please, keep plunging necklines under control and decent. Girls may show legs, as long as it's tastefully done and we can't see your underwear.
- NO VELCRO - For the love of God. There will be spot checks if we feel someone is acting suspiciously. Just because you entered formally doesn't mean you can strip or degenerate your outfit while you're in there. Velcro is allowed in place of zips/press studs/buttons etc. We mean no velcro that will allow your outfit to be ripped off suddenly.
- QUEUE SENSIBLY - Please queue in orderly lines. Pushing your way in won't get you in any faster and will just cause disruption - if you want to get in quickly have your conbadge on display and patiently wait your turn.
