Would this place happen to have any books in good condition? Particularly about history? I've heard mention about a library but that it was under some problems.

I can't imagine this place would have Brag Men or anything of that nature. Without my abilities and being able to go out for long periods of time, especially with such dangerous occurrences ( Read more... )

What a shame. It seems those scientists really do want us to discover everything from scratch.

Brag Men is indeed from my world. It's nothing but a bunch of fantasy tales which are made of "eyewitness accounts," bizarre tales, and unusual reporters from explorers on the Grand Line, but its certainly entertaining enough.

It is very suspicious that only texts that are not of much use would survive, I agree.

Oh? I've experienced a few things that would qualify as "fantasy tales" myself -- out of curiosity, are these tales simply incredibly improbable, or do they defy logic altogether?

Well, to be honest, the ones that exist can't be fully disproven. On the Grand Line, anything is possible; there are islands in the sky, under the water--it's very reckless to trust in "norms" rather than what is in front of you.

Do tell about some of these "fantasy tales," Professor Layton. I'm curious.
