Oneshot: Birthday Pinches

Summary: Changmin experiences the grand old tradition of birthday punches at the hands of the most childish people he knows.
A/N: Written for Changminnie's twentieth birthday.
Changmin wakes up via Yoochun pinching his cheeks with a foolish grin in place. He swats the older man's hands away quickly, ready to roll over and go back to sleep because it's his birthday, dammit and he feels that he's perfectly entitled to, but he forgets how fast Yoochun really is. The baritone somehow manages to grab his flailing arms and tug in such a way that Changmin finds himself with a very good view of the floor. A growl starts in his throat, but Yoochun remains unfazed.
"Morning Minnie-ah! Happy birthday! It's time for breakfast, " the man turns to go, but stops before he reaches the door, "Don't be surprised if you get eighteen more pinches today, Minnie..."
Yoochun manages to escape before Changmin can make him elaborate, but the smell of Jaejoong's cooking wafts in front of the door and he puts the strange words out of his mind so he can claim his birthday breakfast.
He's unsurprised to see them already seated and eating- they've learned to get as much in before he comes; he's not in the least offended by it- but is simply shocked when Yunho, Yunho of all people saunters by him with plate in hand and pinches his ass. The others' snickers tell him that his shock showed in his face, but Changmin is less concerned by that than by the fact that Yunho pinched his ass. The leader, however, is a cool and nonchalant as if the action never happened, so instead of making a scene, as he's sure they want him to, Changmin opts for the more mature path of ignoring them.
Surely they couldn't mean to keep it up all day.
Of course, Changmin should know not to expect anything from them that would require them to act their age.
Throughout the day, and at work no less, Changmin finds himself pinched at any opportune moment by the other members: cheek pinching in front of the cameras, ass pinching when all eyes are off them, one childish scuffle with Junsu in the van. By the end of the day, Changmin is so wary of them that he's downright twitchy.
He chooses to be petulant when it's time for bed, just to teach them a lesson.
"Aww, Min, c'mon. It was just for fun," Yunho pouts with his hidden cuteness, working a little at Changmin's defenses.
"Please don't be mad! You know we pick on you because we love you," Junsu aids him with indescribable guilt and it undoes Changmin as certainly as it undoes the rest of them. He pouts at them instead, letting them know that they aren't off the hook.
"Where the hell did you come up with pinching me for my birthday anyways?"
Three sets of eyes turn to Yoochun. Changmin isn't surprised, but he gives the baritone a chance to explain himself.
"We did it in the States. Pinches on your birthday to equal your age and one more for good luck. Actually, It's supposed to be punches, but since you punch harder, this seemed like a better alternative," Yoochun deadpans, shrugging at the strange custom he picked up. This is good enough for Changmin who sprawls over their joined beds, smirking.
"Since it's my birthday, and you've all been so annoying, you guys have to make it up to me," he states matter-of-factly, knowing they can't and won't resist. They join him without a thought, Yoochun looking at him thoughtfully before they descend.
"You know, I've heard of another variation on that whole birthday punches thing: Birthday kisses. It shouldn't be too much trouble to try that one out."
It's not long before Changmin yelps, startled.
"What the hell! Jae-hyung! Why did you pinch my ass?"
He jest a smirk in response before they return to kissing him, "Yoochun did say one for good luck, didn't he?"
Chang min makes a mental note to get back at Yoochun on the fourth of June, but he promptly forgets as the others make sure he really enjoys his birthday.
