[1] Jaejoong x Junsu / Closet sadist| PG-13
Jaejoong isn't sure why he does it.
He loves toying with Junsu, flirting when they're close so he can see the desperate attraction shine in the younger man's eyes. He loves walking away afterwards, unattainable and able to feel the heartbreak threading through the air. It's rush that Jaejoong can't deny.
It's not to say, however, that he does it out of malice. He loves Junsu, he really does, but when it comes down to it, all Jaejoong can do, all he wants to do, is hurt him.
So he pushes Junsu a little further each time.
It becomes more than flirting; it's touching.
It becomes more than touching; it's holding.
It becomes more than holding; it's kissing.
And when it crosses that borderline, Jaejoong knows he's done it for real. All of the pleasure he derived dissolves.
He's gone too far, broken Junsu for his own gratification. Taken away the naivety, all of the brightness, and light. Taken away the heart that was offered him and crushed it in his grip.
He's become something worth Junsu's hate.
Halfway through the thought, Jaejoong realizes that he's broken himself too.
[2] Yoochun x Yunho / What if I like my dessert more than my main course?| PG-13
It was another bet lost, and, somehow, Yunho didn't have the sense to see that he shouldn't have been gambling with his luck at all.
(He claims he was blinded.) Yoochun was worth the risk.
Beads of sweat dotting his brow, Yunho carried out the terms of his bet, setting a carefully prepared plate in front of the younger man.
Time seems to slow as Yoochun takes a bite and chews thoughtfully, tilting his head from side to side every once in a while. Eventually he swallows and Yunho stares at him, eyebrows raised.
"Well?"
Yoochun wipes his mouth on a napkin before standing up slowly and pushing his chair in.
"It was good, hyung..."
"Then why are you eating anymore?!" Yunho snapped, annoyed. He'd spent an entire afternoon having Jaejoong backseat cook at him; he demanded satisfaction.
Yoochun smirked ridiculously titling his head back a little and giving Yunho "the nod" like some blown up high school jock, "Maybe I'm just waiting for desert."
Yunho rolled his eyes at Yoochun's retreating form as the latter sauntered smoothly into the bedroom.
He'd forgotten all about the second part of the bet.
[3] Jaejoong x Junsu / Too much beer is bad for health| PG-13
Jaejoong didn't know how many he'd had by the time Junsu came to the kitchen, sleepy and curious, but he definitely regretted how drunk he was.
He had always thought that his dongsaeng was attractive, but Junsu's sleep attire- rather, lack of sleep attire- was getting to him more than usual. He couldn't help but gape at the smooth, exposed skin of the baritenor's bare chest or the sweatpants that rode low on his hips, begging to be tugged off. To top it all off, Junsu hair was carelessly mussed in a way that screamed "just-fucked" to Jaejoong's intoxicated brain.
He looked away, groaning.
"Hyung? Are you okay?"
Junsu's voice, still heavy with sleep, was huskier than usual, swimming around in Jaejoong's head. He was starting to get painfully aroused and it didn't seem like a great idea to jump Junsu; the noise would wake Yunho and the others and Jaejoong would be facing his death much sooner than he would like.
"Hyung?"
Junsu approached him and Jaejoong groaned in response, making a botched attempt to shift away from the baritenor which only resulted in Junsu getting closer to catch him.
"You shouldn't drink so much, hyung. It's bad for you, you know..."
Jaejoong nodded tiredly against Junsu's bare chest, willing himself to pass out before he did anything regrettable.
As bad as drinking might have been, it was Junsu who would bet the death of him.
[4] Yoochun x Jaejoong / Let's stop. This is going too fast| PG-13
"Wait..."
Yoochun pulled away from Jaejoong, looking away from the older singer's puzzled expression. He touched his lips with shaky fingers, swallowing breathlessly.
How long had it been?
Just year ago they had been strangers, bumbling trainees who knew little more of each other than their names.
A year ago, Yoochun still liked women.
Eight months ago they were friends, roommates. They were getting used to being "brothers," trying to bypass Yoochun's hesitation and shyness and Jaejoong's deceptively cold exterior.
Yoochun was managing though; it didn't take much when Jaejoong smiled at him.
Six months ago, Yoochun was laughing with Jaejoong in a tattoo parlor after sneaking out after curfew. They held hands and gritted teeth at each other while their proclamation of "SOUL MATES" was immortalized on their backs.
When the work was done they inspected each other's tattoos.
"Nice..."
Yoochun hadn't meant the tattoo at all.
Two months ago they shared secrets over stolen soju, teasing each other lightly. Drunker than he thought he was, Yoochun made a slip-up of a confession that had sobered them up.
Jaejoong hadn't needed much more than that.
And then there they were, kissing in the relative privacy of the apartment while the others were still out recording. It was too much, too fast, and Yoochun wasn't sure that he could make that type of commitment just yet.
"I'm sorry... I don't know if I can do this yet. I... need some time."
He looked up to see the hurt in Jaejoong's eyes, followed by guarded coldness, and it hurt him more than he expected, enough to make him give in. Desperate to make it clear, he grabbed Jaejoong's hand and laid a kiss on the back of it.
"Just for this, though... I still love you the same..."
[5] Changmin x Jaejoong / You don't know I love you| PG
It wasn't like Changmin to be so foolishly in love.
He wasn't used to smiling whenever he heard that person's voice or when they walked into a room. He wasn't used to his heart racing when they touched or not being able to keep his eyes off of that person.
He wasn't used to wanting to be romantic, and he definitely wasn't used to feeling all of this for a man.
Especially if that man was Jaejoong.
He got around to daydreaming, imagining a life without the cameras, without the others and just Jaejoong.
Jaejoong, Jaejoong, Jaejoong...
But then a coordinator would pull him to stand in the light, or the van would run over a bump, or some other misfortune would preserve his carefully constructed imaginings and he would come back to reality reluctantly.
He would glance at Jaejoong then, never looking in his direction, sighing as he knew that he wasn't the foremost thing- the foremost person even- in Jaejoong's thoughts.
You don't know... I love you...
[6] Jaejoong x Yoochun / Sugar or no sugar?| G
Every morning since Jaejoong had moved in with him had proved to be a trial.
They both drank coffee in the morning, or at least... they claimed to (coffee with sugar, sugar with coffee... it equated to about the same to them). Each morning, the rich scent of coffee floated through the apartment, waking Yoochun up gently while Jaejoong bustled around the kitchen.
That, however, wasn't the problem at all.
The problem was that by the time Yoochun woke up enough to figure out where he was and remember how to get to the kitchen, Jaejoong would already have had a few cups of sugar (with coffee) which meant that there was little to no sugar left for him.
It made Yoochun sad. For the longest time, Folgers really was the "best part of waking up"... until he figured out what it actually tasted like.
Coffee had never been more repulsive, but Yoochun needed it. Years of high caffeine intake in the morning had made him dependent. He needed his coffee and he needed his sugar so he could have his coffee.
But he couldn't deny Jaejoong his sugar. Something told him that it would be a bad idea.
He opted instead for trying to acquire a taste for strong, black coffee. Suffice it to say, it wasn't working.
As a result, three weeks of Jaejoong left Yoochun dead on a counter with not enough natural power left to fuel his brain cells to help him finish a song before he hit his deadline. He was so screwed.
Jaejoong, on the other hand, was completely energized.
"Chunnie! You look awful... why don't you go back to bed for a couple of hours and I'll make you something to eat?"
He kissed Yoochun sweetly, waking him up instantly. He was suddenly inspired, all from one sugar (with coffee)- sweet kiss.
Maybe he could do this after all.
[7] Jaejoong x Yoochun / We have our story wrong
Jaejoong looks up as Yoochun comes back from being interrogated by their manager, pale-faced and queasy-looking.
"So, what'd you say?"
Yoochun sits beside him slowly, looking anywhere but Jaejoong.
"Well, you see... I sort of freaked out. I didn't tell him we went drinking or anything, honest, but..."
Jaejoong, curious, presses on, "But what?"
Yoochun tries to smile, but he doesn't quite make it.
"I kinda told him... that we went on a date... with each other."
Jaejoong's mouth falls open and he's suddenly sure he's twitching. Oddly enough, he isn't bothered by Yoochun's botched lie at all, he's more concerned about the fact that his excuse meshed with Yoochun's perfectly.
Not that Jaejoong really minded in the first place.
"Jae... what are we going to do?"
Taking a breath, the elder singer rolled his eyes.
"Simple. We start going out, then, if we don't like it, we break up. It's the only way to support your alibi."
"... You're serious?" Yoochun's surprise was almost comical. Jaejoong suppressed the urge to yell 'of course not!' at him for the resulting comical relief, but he stopped himself.
"You didn't seem so worried about letting the manager think that we were. You shouldn't be so uncomfortable about acting on it."
"That makes no sense!"
"Too bad."
Despite the fact that he looked like wanted badly to retort, Yoochun fell silent and grabbed Jaejoong's hand.
"I shouldn't have gotten the story wrong."
Jaejoong looked up thoughtfully before laughing.
"No, actually, you shouldn't have gotten it right. Then you would just be in trouble for drinking."
[8] Yoochun x Junsu / I have to smile to hold back tears| PG
Yoochun hates it.
He hates that Junsu's always smiling- always happy- simply because it isn't true. He can tell that the baritenor is unhappy, that Junsu hurts often and hurts a lot, and still he smiles like the sun's shining.
He knows it, but there's almost nothing he can do.
The only time that Junsu feels comfortable, that Junsu spills his secrets and opens up for him, is when he sings.
But Junsu doesn't sing for Yoochun. Not when he turns to sing across the stage. He sings to someone else, someone nearer and dearer to his over-broken heart.
It infuriates Yoochun.
It makes him want to grab Junsu and shake him or hold him impossibly tight. It makes him want to scream at Junsu for holding on for someone that makes him so unhappy.
It makes him want to tell Junsu to go for himself instead.
But Yoochun can't do that, so he watches. Watches every faked smile, every hint of pain that hides underneath the surface.
He watches and hopes.
Hopes that one day, Junsu will smile for real and only for him.
[9] Jaejoong x Changmin / Tickling game| PG-13
Nobody's quite sure when "one touch" turned into the "tickling game," but they all realized that the change was not a wise one.
Impromptu scuffles began to break out at every opportunity, on and off camera, even when they were originally across the room from each other. Yunho wasn't sure how many times he had broken apart a violent outbreak of it yelling, "You're both such children!" in his leader voice before retreating as is broke out again.
Many fragile and valuable possessions had departed from this world in the Dong Bang Shin Ki apartment thanks to the game. They all learned to wrap things in bubble wrap, which solved the problem... temporarily. Once they got started, nothing was safe.
After some months, the game evolved once again becoming... something less innocent.
Chaos ensued.
Yunho gave them a week to burn out before he sat them down to lay ground rules.
"Look, I have nothing against anything you guys do, but please, keep it clean and... uh... behind closed doors."
And they listened, which, honestly, didn't improve the situation much. Tensions rose in the apartment and then... the tickling fizzled out. It left as though it had never come and "one touch" was back.
Curious, the others inquired about it on dinner. Both Changmin and Jaejoong shrugged.
"It got old. Besides, who needs tickling when your boyfriend has a great sex drive?"
The others made mental notes never to ask again.
[10] Changmin x Yoochun / Trick| PG-13
It's a trick of the light; nothing's there.
Changmin turned back to his work, straining his eyes to decipher complex codes in the dark. He had been working for nearly three days straight; it made sense for him to start hallucinating.
A shadow passed through his light, casting a dim shadow that was barely perceptible in the darkness of the room. Changmin paused, uncertain as he bent over the code.
Shh...
Changmin stiffened, carefully grabbing his gun. He was sure that he wasn't hallucinating by now. He trained his eyes on the papers in front of him while he listened for any hint of movement.
A soft footstep.
He spun, ready to fire, but the person was faster, grabbing him from behind and disarming his tired body easily. Changmin struggled, wriggling until he got an arm out and was able to drive his elbow into his assailant's face.
"Ow! Fuck, Min!"
Changmin froze.
"Yoochun?"
The figure, an indistinct shape in the light, hissed in pain.
"Fuck. Yes! Who the hell else would it be?"
Changmin moved, snapping on the lights to find his lover crouched on the ground with a heavy nosebleed.
"You moron. I could have killed you!"
"You could have turned the lights on!"
"You could have knocked before coming in!"
Changmin's last remark shut Yoochun up rather well. Unwilling to admit defeat, Yoochun plopped down on the floor, pinching the bridge of his nose to stop the bleeding. Sighing, Changmin walked to his bathroom and soaked a washcloth and soaking it with cold water to hold over the older man's nose.
Pouting at him, Yoochun looked pitiable.
"You know, I don't see the problem with wanting to surprise my boyfriend every once in a while..."
Unfortunately for Yoochun, his boyfriend was horribly practical and perhaps a little less than romantic.
"Nothing, nothing at all... except for the part where you could have gotten killed."
Yoochun opened his mouth to retort, hesitating as he chose his words carefully.
"... How about this. I'll stop trying to surprise you if you stop looking so sexy."
Changmin fixed him with a look, rolling his eyes. How he got involved with such a hopeless romantic, even with their given jobs, he'd never know. Deciding to give into the older man, he dropped a kiss on Yoochun's cheek before returning to his desk and to his work.
"You know, you just have to find a better way of tricking me."
"Damn straight I do."
Changmin sighed; Yoochun would never learn.
