"Yunho-ah, I almost forgot to say, do tell Junsu-ah that he was invited to appear on X-man again. They wanted another one of you to go along, so I thought I would send Yoochun-ah along with him..."
Yunho stopped rather abruptly, barely preventing himself from tripping over nothing as he stared at their manager in disbelief.
"What?! Why can't I go with Junsu instead of Yoochun?"
Simply speaking, Yunho didn't trust any of the guests- male or female- not to make a move on his angelic dongsaeng in his absence, not did he trust Yoochun to keep their sunbaes away... or to stay away from Junsu too for that matter. It wasn't that he didn't trust Junsu to be able to protect his... assets but... no, he didn't trust Junsu to keep wandering hands away from his ass, and that troubled Yunho deeply.
Everyone knew that Junsu's ass was his... except perhaps for Junsu himself. Yunho had been meaning to tell Junsu for a long time, in fact, he'd made several attempts to do just that. Circumstances, however, were never quite on his side.
Sometimes... he really hated being famous... and the other members' lack of good timing.
All that aside, his main priority was keeping potentially lecherous celebrities away from Junsu which, of course, he could only properly do if he were there at the filming with the baritenor. He wanted the job done right. This, however, was not the thing to tell their manager.
"Is there a problem with Yoochun going? You seem quite upset by this..." their manager frowned, perplexed by Yunho's strange behavior.
"Ah, nooo.... I was just... You know, Yoochun isn't that fond of gong on variety shows, and I'm much closer to most of the hosts and guests than he is. Besides it'll look good to have the two most talkative members on the show for the unscripted parts. I only have the band's best interests in mind!"
Even Yunho would admit that it was desperate BS at best. Despite that, he still put on a a good, honest puppy-face to help convince their manager otherwise.
He kept it up while the wheels turned in their managers head.
"... You have a good point, Yunho. I'll send Yoochun with Jaejoong and Changmin then , and you can go to film X-man with Junsu."
"You mean that worked?"
"Excuse me?"
"I mean... I'll work hard to represent TVXQ!"
Their mamanger smiled approcingly, patting Yunho on the shoulder as they started towards the van. Inwardly, Yunho breathed a sigh of relief. It was an honest blessing that their manager seemed to be able to think no wrong of him.
Junsu's ass would be safe for one more day.
