Aug 25 2012: Haagen-Dazs Mini (or Maxi) Meet Pics
Maaaaan! I've just realized that it has been a very long time since I've last posted any Manika Manila meet pics here in my LJ. XDXDXD After acquiring a brand new camera this same month, it's about high time that I break the cycle and start posting my meet piccies again.......
Last Saturday, we held the meet in Haagen-Dazs - Shangri-la Mall branch. It used to be real famous ice-cream parlor but now on the verge of joining the other branches in closing down all over the Philippines. After this, the only chance that anyone can buy Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream here are in PriceSmart (and they will only come in containers, not scoops). So, here's to childhood *pauses in reflection*.

While waiting for the rest of the peeps, I hanged out first in Hobbes and Landes (one of my favorite novelty shops, ever) to try out one of their puzzle games:
See those colorful gears? When they said that the objective of this puzzle game is to roll a tiny metal ball through those nooks and crannies......by numeric sequence...........without the tiny ball falling........from 1 to 100........
I'm dead. @_@
I'm so dead drawn to this game that it's nearly time for the meet when I glanced at my watch at last. XDXDXD
Anyways, next destination:
And this is what we ordered: a giant fondue platter full of fruits, nuts, cookies, waffles and scoops of ice cream.
Aaah, so worth the price especially when there are so many of us sharing it XDXDXD

Now for these shots, Kuri got a pair of custom black wings as a birthday gift from CP (maaaan she's awesome and I'm foreseeing future commissions if ever she's planning to open one XDXDXD). To test how the wings fit, here's my goth boy modelling them for the rest:

For the rest of the shots, we moved upstairs to Secret Recipe for dinner and dessert (and for the rest of the "mini" meet). Looking back, I should have set the camera's balance before taking the new shots because everyone ended up too friggin' YELLOW >.<''''''!!! To make them more presentable, PS5 with colors saturated helped a bunchies ^^.

There seems to be an ongoing trend around MM with adult dorries having li'l resin counterparts. And joining us for the first time (?) is Wittle Shiori (yaaaaaaaaaahh!!!! <3<3<3)

When Nix gave all of the members ManikaManila calling cards, I noticed that some posed their dorries either near the cards or holding them. Got me thinking all of a sudden: what better way to promote Manika Manila than our own resin members? Soooooo...........
