A sin is a sin, my friend. No matter how you see yourself. And in Fullmetal Alchemist terms, I think Kikyo would fit the descriptions of homunculus. She wasn't really brought back by alchemy, the witch Urwasuwea brought her back with her magic, magic, not alchemy. But Kikyo does have powers, which might make her a homunculus in the eyes of someone from FMA. Though I could be wrong...?.?
But then again, how are you to know that you've committed a sin, unless you know what sin itself is. And what is sin then? What you say is sin is not necessarily what I say is sin. And what you think is just something you do everyday without much regard may be something that I strictly believe to be sin. Sin can be only difined through perspective; a sin is not always a sin. What I think you mean by that is that society has certain criteria on which it judges all and a sin is a sin when society declares one to be based on its perspective.
