The hunger pangs are much worse like this. I can hear you all when you sleep. I can hear your heartbeats.
[The dark spot blocking the stars shifts. The voice is almost Arthas, but decidedly more calm and... single-minded.]
Why would you put dead meat out? It will only pacify the scavengers. The rest of us need to catch it warm and hear it suffer. Sometimes as a human as well.
[Pause. There's a struggle here, with something, and an intangible layer that had been missing in his tone comes back.]

[Whatever is standing over the camera walks away and for the next several hours there's a static shot of the stars turning overhead.]
