Drake was born and bred to be an evil sorcerer and to bring back Morgana so she can lead her army of the undead to victory. The fact that he was drawn to Arthas is perfectly natural, and fitting. However, the fact is, I've seen a conversation he's had with his warden, and he thinks that Arthas would be better off if he talked him into saving people. The concept is ludicrous.

My son was never meant to be the monster that he became. You don't determine the decisions yours can make now any more than I could have. From the sounds of it, his soul is better off.
