Yup. I have returned once more, deciding to update...and well. Yeah. Use context clues. I'm updating, people.
Okay, so Colonial has been...pretty predictable the past few days. As an update on my schedule, my periods, from one to six are as follows, American History, English II, Biology Honors, Spanish I, Drawing, and sixth period, Algebra I.
I'll get started on what I dislike most. Algebra I. Teacher's a guy, can't spell his name...But he's pretty much a straightforward teacher if there ever was one. We usually have two tests every day, and all of the other work he gives us never gets graded. Basically, it's just boring--I learned all of this stuff last year in Algebra I-A, and now I'm forced to learn half of it. Again. Today, basically, I had gotten much further ahead than the others and decided to put my head down, because I was feeling sleepy, and I already knew what he was discussing. And freaking...He walks over and asks if I'm paying attention, when I point out I've already done my work and everything. And he says if I don't "participate," I'll get a detention. Seriously, though, it's not my fault he has such low expectations of the class and doesn't expect anyone to finish. So I basically just held my head up, still half-drifting to sleep, but he didn't say anything.
Next on the list, Drawing. Teacher's Ms. Dixon, she has an obsession with "LINES" and brings up a history lesson on them every day. The past two days have been tolerable, since we're free to create on our own terms, but most other days, she gives us at least two projects a day, one usually a writing project. The writing things...Have to be the most pointless work I'll do this school year. We have to take notes in "outline" form, because she claims it'll be easier to review them. Aside from when we actually take notes, nobody even looks in their folders. We have too much work for it. And most of her projects, she expects perfection on, and I'm usually unable to finish, anyways. She gives us these huge sheets of paper, and we, most of the time, have to completely shade those suckers in. Just...Gah, she works us too hard.
Third in line, Spanish I. I don't really hate the class, it's just difficult for me. I do want to learn the language, but I'd prefer doing it at my pace. A slow one. ^_^ The teacher's cool and everything, but today we were forced to watch this one video today. I was out pretty much 7/8 of it. Just too boring. ¬_¬
Fourth, Biology Honors. Simply put--the tests are impossible. Moving on.
Fifth, American History. I guess it should take 4th place, but there's really nothing wrong with the class or teacher. I don't know anyone in there, though, and most people are jerks, and just goof off. Whatever. I have a brochure for Buddhism due monday...Just sticking that in there to remind myself. >.>;
Sixth, English II. The teacher. Is. Awesome. Mr. Sloey. I pity the fool that don't have him as a teacher. It's basically because of how entertaining he is. He shares a bunch of stories with us, and has a witty comeback to just about anything the students say. 'Ncluding me. >.> He's just an all-around cool guy.
Anyways, 'nough of the classes, now on to the miscellaneous.
Best friend = Heather P. I love her. ^_^ As a friend. We did, however, have these two girls assume us as first, brother and sister, and then boyfriend and girlfriend. >.>; I always sit right next to her during lunch, so...yeah. After I said no to both, they guessed right that we were just best friends. ...Kinda. Heather's my best friend, but she's more or less indifferent, really. She's been through alot.
Lunch: Basically, hug Jessie and meet up with Heather afterwards. Usually, if she isn't there, I just walk around. If I can't find her, or anyone, I'll just lean against a wall. Meh.
Bus: Sit in the front, usually by myself. It's just better that way. I try to sleep, most of the time. I almost broke my neck a few days, ago, though, when I was leaning my head against it, and the bus stopped suddenly. Meh. It's basically the same to and from school.
Meh, well that's pretty much it at the moment, my Dad's in the room, complaining that we don't have any food. God, he's annoying. I'll update later. And by that, I mean a few months. Lol.
