(no subject)
well the second interview went well... I interviewed with two other people there and they seem to still be pretty interest in me. supposedly they will let me know tomorrow if I have the job or not. Strangely enough they seem more interested in my computer skills than my psychology and research experience. It seems that they are going to want me to organize data from surveys and possibly create internet surveys using java.
I also just recieved an email from another research company in princeton that would like to meetiwith me. This place does marketing research, which I'd also be interested in doing. They said that my research experience will possibly allow me to get a higher salary than the starting salary of 30,000 (which is about what psra will pay me). I think I'm going to stick with psra though because it seems like a pretty chill place to work.... but it's good to know that I have another option if they don't hire me.
I'm kind of surprised that the job search is going this well so far... I expected that it would be a lot more difficult. It ain't over yet though.
