Went to see Dick Dale tonight with Steve. It was pretty rad. Dude is 67 years old and he played for 2 hours. He played just about everything I wanted to hear and more. At one point he put his guitar down and grabbed some drumsticks and did a 2 man drum solo, which was pretty awesome. Then he went over to the bass player who fretted notes while Dick Dale pounded on the strings with drumsticks and it sounded damn cool. After a while he brought his 12 year old son out and the two of them played acoustic for a while. That kid is fuckin way better than I am and he's only 12. All in all... well worth my 16 dollars.
