J'aime la New Orleans
I had the best weekend. Me and Rick up and left Big "D" for New Orleans. We left right after school friday around 1:30 and drove to Lafayette where 2 of Rick's friends live. When we arrived (btw it was deep into gator country) they had homemade crawfish etouffe', fried shrimp, potato salad and homemade root beer. It was such a cool experience. They were so creole it was fantastic. The way they talk down there is great. Its so fun to listen to. So we stayed the night in New Iberia and woke up early the next morning and drove 2 hours to New Orleans. We immediately went down to the French Quarter and shot like 3 rolls of film each. It is so photogenic there, I can't wait to develop my film because i know i got some superb shots. We got drunk just walking around the streets listening to street performers. I was never I.D'd which was the shit. I drank daiquiris out the wa-zoo. It was so bad ass. Then the next day we got up early and checked out this old cemetery and got some more great shots there. It was such a blast, I will remember it even when I am old and grey. Well i better do this history homework. I was supposed to do it on the car ride down south, but i enjoyed looking out the window and listening to music full blast way to much to even think about school.
