Update!
I finished building my new computer. It's fully operational and running Vista 64, XP Pro, and Ubuntu. Surprisingly, I have not encountered any problems with Vista as of yet. Everything that I thought or heard wouldn't work or that I would have a problem has turned out to be untrue in my situation. I wonder why that is...
But Vista sure does look pretty! The best part of my new computer is that I'm able to have a dual-monitor screen using my LCD screen and my TV. The cool part is that my graphics card will output them both at different resolutions and refresh rates, etc. I can now watch movies and other media while working on my computer. It's pretty nifty!
And the entire system is super quiet. I could hardly hear it, it's amazing!
Also, in other news, I'm moving to Houston in 2 weeks to begin my new job at a CPA firm. I've known since last year, and damn time does fly fast. I'm feeling very nervous, because I'm literally moving away for a LOOOOONG time and probably will never come back to live in El Paso. I'll finally be on my own, so why do I feel so nervous and scared about it?! -=sigh=-
