But dying means he'd see his daddy again! ...Then it also means no Phoenix or Bourne or Cori or Mikaela or Larry or Pearl or anyone else, so maybe he won't die just yet. But he WILL be completely speechless, which will be an impressive feat indeed.

Cori will be confused by the speechlessness and think he accidentally broke him. :< And then probably offer to take the book back and get him something else instead. XD

Well, he will have come close to accidentally breaking him. XD But in the (relatively) best possible way, really. And oh Cori. [pets him] He'll probably cling to it like a food aggressive dog with its food dish or something. "NO. No, it's...fine."

Cause you can never have too many of those, right?
