I watched the news a few min ago, for the first time in over 6 months. I have yet to stop crying.
Why the fuck is there so much violence?
Every single section was about violence or spawned from it. Troops dead this month. Troops missing, but still searching, even though we were notified that if we continued our search, they wouldn't remain safe. Troops apathetic towards comrads abusing and/or killing civilians. Killing of a taliban leader. Leader's message 36 hrs prior stating that Americans and Brits were being trained to do attacks on their own countries.
Then, Darfur.
That pushed me over the edge.
fuck.
goddamnit, most of the world just wants fucking PEACE. I know it's natural for creatures to be violent, but goddamnit, we do so much to try and hide our animal side (such as having laws and shit), so there's no reason to allow military or government violence occur. Either remove everything that brings us together as humans, allowing our fully animalistic truness to show through... or GIVE US FUCKING PEACE, allowing for as close to pure humanity as operable.
