And never shalt return!

Work has been hella busy for the past few days as I predicted. I think tonight was even busier than the wednesday, probably because of the celtic/rangers game on the wednesday night. Unfortunately I am doing overtime tomorrow and unluckly for me I'm in returns for the second half of my shift. It is not going to be a good day.

Kira is leaving tomorrow and since she's sleeping weird and I'm at work early tomorrow I'm not going to see her before she leaves. Oh well. At least she thankfully agreed to go and do the shopping for me tomorrow before I get home from work. Plus the Harry Potter tickets have been booked. Good good.

I've been listening to the Wolf's Rain soundtracks over the past few days. I forgot how much I love them. They even pip the spot from Lord of the Rings for my favourite soundtrack of all time. It has so many flavours. You have every instrument you can think of, strings and percussion aplenty. There are songs in japanese, english, french and even two in complete jibberish. You've got hard guitars, soothing pianos and strings and then it swings around with the use of a distortion machine. I also love the harmonica solo in the song Cloud 9, it is simply divine. Yoko Kanno's best work by far and thats saying something since she always pulls out something spectacular. Plus I think Stray is my favourite OP of all time too. Probably because I can relate with the song so well. I'm readily looking forward to getting my dirty little mits on the complete Wolf's Rain dvd collection in a few weeks. Darcia is <3

Speaking of DVDs I decided to order the complete 1st Gig of GitS: Stand Alone Complex. I'd heard nothing but good things about it and it was going for cheap on play. At least it'll give me something to watch over the weekend whilst Kira is away. Plus my Trinity Blood soundtrack has been dispatched. Hopefully they'll both arrive by saturday.

wolf's rain, makro
