Don't you just love music? God, I do. It's like I was walking to work, listening to my zen as I do and music is just so amazing.
I listened to Ayumi Hamasaki for like the first time in months today. I needed something bouncy to counter all the depressive emoness I have clogging up my earbuds on a regular basis. Her voice borders on cringe worthy, it has a whine that hits me sometimes. But man, if she doesn't make me smile. I was listening to Girlish and it's just a daft song. I mean from the outset when she's goofing around with her band and then she starts singing with a weird infliction and then the whole thing just desolves in to "lalala" and her band start clapping. Sillyness.
And then, a song like The Moth by Aimee Mann comes on and I so identify with this - the moth don't care when he sees the flame, he might get burned but he's in the game
OMG and To The Edge came on, this is one of my favourite songs from Lacuna Coil's newest album and I started walking to the beat (as i so often do) and had to stop myself from singing outloud and breaking in to a dance. I just wanted to move so much.
Oh and how different is Tori Amos' voice on Y Kant Tori Read?, so bizzare. There is a light that shines on the frontier, pirates, yeah!
Pirates of the Carribean in two days. OMGAGE!
I'm just in some crazy whacky mood right now and it's cool because normally I dictate myself through other people and am upset when people say things bad or that I don't like or feel good when they praise me or say nice things. But I'm in a good mood just because I want to it and the sun is shining and i'm just smiling and it's kind of creepy.
I was at work and I was so proud of myself because I managed to stick this piece of paper on to a box through the cage holes because I was too lazy to lift open the door. Ha!
Some silly woman said that I was being rude. I don't even care anymore. Customers are so funny. She walked in to the returns office and I was all "Exsqueeze me, you can't come in here" and she had the most sour face. John was joking with me afterward and was all "Women!" Bwah.
Hagi vs The Sif = ultimate pwn. Hagi vs Solomon = too hot for tv. Haha.
