Tragedy thrills me.
My legs are killing me. Ow ow ow. I'm not sure what the hell is wrong with them. It's possible it might be from riding that stupid electronic bull friday night and using my legs to stay on. Mleryness. I can't be doing with going back to work tomorrow because it means lots of walking, although the exercise will do me mucho good because I've been eating like a pig all week.
I have the folder from the photo I got on friday night propped up on my desk so when I roll over I see hot faux cowboys. So much awesomeness. XD
I haven't done a lot since friday night. Been trying to get my keyboard working on my laptop but there seems to be a confliction with the drivers somewhere. I want to play so badly. Urgh. I'm gonna have to search and see if other people have had the same problems with duff soundcards.
I've been watching the second season of Battlestar Galactica over the past few days
I forgot how much I loved this show. I'm forever doing that. Don't see something in so long and then I watch it and it's like, god this fucking owns all. The theme song gets me everytime, it's so tribal and atmospheric. Definately sets the tone right.
I didn't actually like the first episode much. I'm not so much of a huge fan of Baltar like most of the fandom appears to be. His crazyness kind of does my head in. However, I still <3 Six. She pwns all. I think my favourite part, thus far this season, is seeing Six in sweats and her hair tied back. She looked so different but still gorgeous. Damn her. I could really have done without the whole Tyrol/Cally drama on Kobol too. Two characters I couldn't give two flips abouts. In fact the whole Kobol thing was lame.
The episode where the centurions invaded Galactica was quite simply awesome, slashing people's faces left, right and centre. So dark. Love it.
Other highlights so far. Galactica!Boomer dying, I'd already read a spoiler about it but it was still quite tragic. The whole "You love me?" - "Uh-huh" conversation between Apollo and Starbuck. Man, I remember now why I ship them. They're the only real pairing that I like. But what's this about them pairing Apollo with Dualla? Nooooo! I like Dualla with Billy, they're cute. The scene where they name the new ship "Laura" for the President was really touching too. I assume that Mary McDonnell isn't going out of it so there's going to be some miracle with her being the saviour of the colonies? Oh, Oh, I totally dug Lucy Lawless as the reporter aswell, so not surprised that she was a cylon. I hope we see more of her.
