Today Vic took me to
The Roasted Bean This is the Burlap Sack, it is out of focus, because it was past noon and I had no caffiene in me. This came from Hawaii, this came from Paradise. This is the best coffee on the planet that's not
shat out of a rodents ass.
This is the Roaster. We discussed roasting tempatures for about 30 minutes. We took it to 423 degrees. I wanted it oily but not burnt, not quite french but close.
This is another plug for the roaster. This is the bag they gave it to me in. This bag is still warm.
These are the beans before they went in the official sealed Jar.
Ground
In the french press.
200 Degree water added, look at that bloom.
Four Minutes Later...
Look at that oil.
I had the first cup black.... But the second some half and half and very little sugar was added.. I can't describe the taste, it was.. .
It was.. amazing...
I'm going to do an actual cupping this weekend, my palate is not the best trained, but for this I'm going to do my best.
