New Jersey 1
Wow, it has been what almost 4 months since the last time I wrote anything so maybe it is time again. Over the last lets say month I have taken two trips to New Jersey to see Jon. This will only be about the first one that me and Happes went on. Both trips will be written about in a somewhat abridged version.
Saturday: Marc came and got me about 10:15 am. Went to fill up on gas then we were off. Stopped at a pit stop on the Jersey Turnpike then it was back on the road again. This trip we took different directions then what I was use to. Got to TCNJ and picked up Jon so we could go get his car which was getting fixed. Drop him off to get his car then me and Marc are heading back to the school and then Marc's car breaks down. Had to wait a while for a tow truck. He took us to a place in Trenton. After getting lost for a a long time and actually ending up in PA, we finally found Marc. Went to get Pizza. Got back to the school and unloaded our stuff. Went to Princeton to go to PJ's Pancake House for dinner. Then back to the dorm to get ready for a party. The party was at Steve and Omar's house. Me and Jon kicked butt in beer pong for a while and that was enough drinking for me. Lots of other things happened so if you want to know, im me and I'll tell you. So at 2 we left. Got back to the dorm then Jon kicked us out of the room so me and Marc slept in the lounge.
Sunday: Only had about almost 4 hours of sleep. Marc called the car place to see what was wrong but they said they couldn't look at it till Monday. Mind you we only planned on staying till Sunday. Jon woke up then we had a talk about the night before and after that was over we decided to go to Philadelphia. That was cool though I would have liked to see more but what can you do. Left at like 4 or 5 and then headed back. Fuse blew in Jon's car which everyone said was my fault but I don't know. When we got back me and Marc took JDBOR and went to Wendy's and Hollywood Video. We got Flags of Our Fathers. When we got back the RA's were at the desk so they wouldn't allow us to go back to the room unless Jon was there. We had to wait till 8 for him to get out of his meeting. This happened at like 6:30. After we found him we went to Wawa which is my favorite. Then finally back to dorm but Jon thought the movie would be too deep to handle at such a late time so we watched Borat instead. At 1 me and Marc got our id's back then we went to sleep in the room this time.
Monday: Woke up and went to Denny's. On the way there the Marc called for the car but they said it wasn't done yet. Ate then got a newspaper and headed back to the dorm. Jon had office hours so he left so it was me, Marc, and Nate. At like 2:30 me and Marc headed down to the dining hall to eat and then Jon called and we went to get the car. Got to the car and loaded it while Marc was inside getting everything squared away. $600 plus dollars later we were on our way. Back on the Turnpike we got gas because it was cheaper then home. Filled it up but then we found the gas to be leaking out from the bottom of the truck. After an hour we decided to take our chances and head home. We made it back thank goodness.
