So let's talk about how UNBELIEVABLY awesome this is. Makes me crave Sam/River so hard that I'm so writing some of Raising Hell before I go to sleep.
This is fantastic. It's clever and a brilliant melding of the two worlds with a whole stack of awesome stuff in between. I kind of thought that somehow you were going to have demon!Sam exorcised from Sam's body and River and crew would have to get to know real Sam, but I love the way you did it. I love that Inara is going nuts trying to save River and Sam's a figment and just so.freaking.awesome. And the scene with Dean is adorable and funny.
Sequel me?

So I totally had a response to this about a week ago, but then my computer froze and I forgot I was responding. So first, appologies.

Second, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I actually never thought to exorcising Sam, because in my mind he was an actual demon, through and through (though still Sam, with his softness that sometimes shown through) and invisible. And for some reason, Inara always has to be a hunter. A new-agey, hunter.

And I think I'm convinced to write a sequal. I already have a sort-of plot in mind.

Okay this like... my first official post on LJ because it just confuses the hell out of me but this fic was just so amazing that I couldn't NOT comment on it.
I love it, it's amazing, you're even more amazing for writing it and I want to reread it again and again. It's just.... spectaculacular.
I agree with death_of_dreams; sequel please!!

This rocks, personally I never thought that River/Sam could work out, but this...this was unbelievably and completely awesome! Is this just a one-shot, because a story based off this would be a hit!
