(no subject)
So, a brief run-through of my last couple of days...
I drove to Oklahoma City spontaneously on Wednesday thinking that it was "Wednesday the 14th", when indeed, it was on the 13th. Meaning that B-Dog and I drove all the way to OKC to go see The Faint and Tilly and The Wall a whole day early...
Drove home that night, got back up the next day(yesterday), and at the last minute decided that we were going to back to OKC to see the show again!
So, we drove down there, got there with plenty of time to hang out and wait for all of the other opening bands play - saw Tilly and The Wall, I had never seen them before... they were okay I suppose... The only saving grace for them was the tap-dancer who dances to all of their songs, that was pretty rockin'. Then The Faint went on and played pretty muchn everything I had hoped for them to play, as well as about three new songs. Encore was a new song and Agenda Suicide, so, I was thoroughly happy. I was also happy that they played Desperate Guys, How Could I Forget, and I Disappear back-to-back. This show was well worth the fifteen dollar price tag (and the forty dollars in gas used between the two trips...)
Ah... now I cannot wait until my next venture to OKC - The Red Hot Chili Peppers w/ Gnarls Barkley on January the 12th!
