Oh man yoga was amazing! I felt sooooo relaxed after, like every muscle in my body just said "ahhhh" laugh if you want it was so cool and the endorphins and the sweating it just cleans your body...
I mean sure I sweat like 2 liters of water cause well, 39 degree room + yoga... but it was so fun!
The instructor told me I did very well for my first time, she said a lot of people can't even stay in the room the whole time and I did and I only didn't do like 2-3 positions and they weren't the hard ones anyway I was just lightheaded at that point and it wasn't a good idea to just go on.
I got a headache... well not now cause I tool Tylenol but I did push myself a little too hard maybe but let me tell you, I don't know if it's the swimming or something else but my flexibility and especially balance improved so much!
A couple of years ago I couldn't even do a Downward Dog and now I can and I held it for as long as everyone else did!
And I always had problems with standing on one leg and yet today I didn't fall once, I help my balance, a little shaky maybe but I did! Perhaps it's my core strength from the swimming but I don't know I was just surprised!
Anyway it's a great feeling. I went from wanting to get drunk today to just relaxing and feeling good. I mean if it'll always do that for me, I am planning on sticking with it. I'll try anyway!
Ah, end of yoga rant! Gotta write up some homework now before House comes on at 12!
