Exploding blow driers and my life...
So there I was, after work, after a nice shower, getting ready to blow dry my hair as I always do cause that's the only way it looks decent... I was gonna go for bangs and pigtails today...
And I turn on the blow drier... click-pshhhh-boom! It almost exploded in my hand. The coil overheated in about a second, broke off and the plastic cracked.
So... now I look like shit.
And that drier cost me $20.
I mailed my corset back. They replied today and I only had to add $4 (well I sent them $5 cause who the hell sends 2 toonies) plus of course the postage which was $10 but only cause I need them to get it on Monday so that maybe I will be lucky and get it by Friday which is the day before Fetish.
And still awaiting my shorts. They should be there by Friday too.
Our building had the parking levels power-washed today and they left us nice notices in the building basically telling us we have to put our cars away from 9-5 but didn't tell us where. So now everyone's parked in the visitor lot and along the road, which is illegal. If I get a ticket, I am mailing it to the management and they can fucking pay it.
They actually BLOCKED access to the levels! I was SOOO pissed off.
Anyway.
At least I have good coffee. I went to Moonbean yesterday and got some Hawaii Kona and Tanzania Peaberry. Mmmmm... good coffee.
I gotta go try to make something normal looking out of my hair.
I got a patio set from Ikea: chairs: http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/52655_PE154042_S4.jpg and a table: http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/52656_PE154043_S4.jpg. And also lamps... http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/70048_PE185418_S4.jpg 2 of the white ones... they hold tea lights. And I got a portable charcoal grill. It's small and nice and took me forever to put together. That one was from Canadian Tire but it was as bad as Ikea instructions. Minus the blobby guys.
Well I gotta go meet Gordon now. Ciao.
