Hardcore geeking
Am posting this from Safari running on dual-boot Vista/OSX 10.5 on my standard HP laptop. This would have been a lot easier to accomplish if it hadn't been for the AHCI-enabled nForce chipset - google for AHCI nForce OSX86 and you'll find page after page describing methods that people have had no success with. Eventually managed to get this working by reassigning hardware IDs to various driver modules.
