[RL] [For Crocker]

Feb 06, 2011 04:37

Gellert was waiting in a deserted little hut located near to the Russian border. He went to the doorway, looking out at the snowy forest. He wasn't sure if Crocker would arrive inside or outside so he kept an eye out either way ( Read more... )

Leaving Ferb behind, Denzel slid his cloak back on. The overbearing summer in Danville was too much. Although, the short trip into Danville was nice besides it being warm, Crocker had lost his depth and felt 'normal' for a few moments before stepping back into the portal and into the other wizarding world where Gellert was. Having a greet of cold air that was slicing though his body like knives, even if he was now once again bulky the man was still rather anorexic. It was unfornatate to say the least that even in this 3 dimensional world his strange features didn't go away but where rather enhanced. Like his Dowager's hump. Crocker wondering to himself what in his insane mind now what made him come and then remembering on spot as he made a remark to himself shivering, "Oh, right that." Searching the icy landscape for a sign of Gellert as the man was huddling himself as he took each step, "GELLERT?" Calling out, Crocker's cloak obvoiusly not fitting in with the Victorain style.

Gellert glimpsed something moving and this place was so remote that he assumed that it could only be his invited guest. He stepped a little way out of the hut and waved, calling out: "Over here!"

"FIDDLE STICKS!... My glasses are fogging up on me." And sure enough with the extreme weather change between the world hopping his glasses where. "I can't see a thing." Very slowly taking his hands out of the warmth of his pockets and huddling postion, to wipe the steam from his glasses, after a moment or two his vision clearing but his hands now feeling frozen shoving them back insider as he slowly but surely made his way over to the waving hand, "Helllo." His body still shivering as he stood in front of the other man for the first time. Crocker's over bite exaggerated that even with his mouth closed, his front teeth slid over his bottom lip and his smaller teeth now where still disjointed in a fashion, "I'd offer you a handshake but it's too cold out here."

"Then come in, come in," Gellert ushered him back toward the small, rather run-down-looking hut. But it was definately comfortably warm inside.

He looked Crocker up and down curiously before letting him in.

"Thank you for coming."

"Thank you." That would had been a slight spazz had the man not been so cold. Denzel was eyeing Gellert back and was slighlty envious of Gellert. Not that it was Gellert per say anyone who didn't look run down like Crocker knew he was run down and probably older he looked then he actual was because of his deformalities. Walking with Gellert to the small run down hut, made Crocker feel at home as he thought about his own run down house back in Dimmsdale.

Inside, Denzel shook his body of the cold and his glasses slightly fogging up again but not as badly as they had when he had gone from summer to winter.
Exposing his four handed fingers stood near the fire to let them thaw.

"Thank you for inviting me. Yes."

Gellert closed the door and it seemed quite cosy inside then, as if it wasn't freezing outside at all. He pulled the chairs over, closer to the flame.

"Please, do sit," he offered, sitting down himself. He studied Denzel curiously again. "You still look different to how you looked before," he noted. "It's like it's you... but it isn't."

He didn't sound offended or accusing, merely mildly curious; fascinated, even.

"Ah, thank you." Denzel took the offered seat, of course not sitting at all straight against the chair, then eyeing Gellert on the riddle, raising a brow before returning to look at his own hands warming over the fire, and flipping them over, "Oh, you mean my bulkyness?" Then lower answering himself, "Yes, you must mean that." Then louder, "Happens when I visit this universe."

For the best it was better not to ask logic, there quite wasn't any and Crocker was quite use to that.

"It's very... intriguing," Gellert mused then waved a hand dismissively, letting out a careless laugh. "But not to matter. We are not here to discuss appearances."

He smiled brightly at Crocker, his eyes sparkling merrily; eagerly. "So did you bring a wand with you?"

"I have 'interesting'" Crocker fingering qouting there, "laws of physics where I'm from." Before adding to himself, "Apparently." Considering all the times something has been shown on that community where people have remarked to Crocker he should be 'techincally' dead from what just happened. Thinking for a brief moment that time Kazuha kicked down his bedroom door ontop of Denzel by mistake and snapped Crocker's spine in two. She freaked out and Crocker stood up looking at Kazuha like what the big deal was. One could have a field day with these 'laws of physics' where Mr. Crocker is from. Had Crocker been in his own world, Gellert would had seen that moment of thought for himself as well. Something commonly known as a flashback. Something else Kazuha found rather 'strange ( ... )

Gellert had visited Ferb's world himself - twice if you counted the brief time he worldhopped over to a more modern-day Hogwarts - and he hadn't noticed any change in himself. But that may have just been because he was more interested in his surroundings than what his body may have been doing.

Any of Crocker's quirkiness, including the way he talked fascinated Gellert. He had never been drawn to people who were what would be considered 'normal'. He found that incredibly dull. He also liked someone driven by a quest, in Crocker's case his wanting to prove fairies existed.

He grinned more upon seeing the wand.

"May I?" He held out a hand.

"Good ahead." Swishing out the wand in a very fluid manner handing the wand towards Gellert, making a small comment to himself as he did, "Not like I can use it anyways."

That was something else he was envoius of both Albus and Gellert they could perform magic and after having hand given his wand to Gellert Denzel stood at the flame for a few minutes and how unoriginary the flame was. Staring that Crocker felt his in his veins the lust for power. To make fire that didn't need something for the fire to burn. In his glasses you could see the flame reflecting and his eyes. His eyes sinster and twisted. Before after that moment turning to Gellert.

"Exactly, what are you going to do to me?"

Gellert had the wand in his hand but was staring intently at Denzel, having watched the way he had just looked.

"I am not sure yet," he said smoothly. He then looked down at the wand in his hands. He turned it over, ran his fingers over the wood then with a quick flick of his wrist, he silently 'summoned' the nearby blanket. It floated toward them.

"Are you still cold?"

"What do you mean you're not sure yet?!"

Watching Gellert run his fingers over the wood and flcik his wrist and summoning the blanket. Denzel knew what spell that was. He had flipped though a Standard Book of Spells before this, his eyes drifting back to the fire, "Huh? Oh, no. I'm not as cold." Then with a Charlie Brown wary look on his face was wondering if this was going to work at all, whatever Gellert had planned. Personally, he was still very questionable about anything changing, however how he had been at the end of his rope. Again, if he could be a wizard... What had he really to lose?

Needless to say he was still a little cold but that was unlikey to go away. Any drift with his body weight was just going to cut though him anyways.

Another deft flick and the blanket returned to where it had been before. Gellert eyed Denzel.

Keeping hold of the wand he'd been given, Gellert pulled out his own, the branch-like wand he'd had since before he went to school.

"Try this one." He just wanted to see if it would do anything. It was likely that the wand Crocker had come from Ollivander's but Gellert's wasn't as polished as that. It had a wilder sense to it, not so expertly manfactured -which he felt might be more appropriate for a 'wild card' such as Crocker, if there was any dormant magical power in him at all.

Carefully taking Gellert's wand and staring at that for a moment, then eyeing Gellert and eyeing the blanket stating to himself, "Well here goes nothing."

Swishing rather naturally, "Wingardium Leviosa!" Then freezing in place at the blanket at which the wand tip was pointed.... Nothing. The blanket remainded motionless.

"Try again," Gellert encourages. "Really concentrate."
