Thank you to all those who left your lovely supportive comments on my "Cue Violins..." post, they were greatly appreciated.
Lord Edward Soggybotham, Earl of St Vincent's-by-the-Bins asked me to pass on his thanks and has now dried out almost completely. He's currently in an airy spot indoors and seems to be making a full recovery, I'm happy to announce!
I've noticed he's lost half of his mouth embroidery, so I'll fix that and primp him up with a jaunty purple bow before I donate him back once the St Vincent de Paul's op shop re-opens.

inamac for her suggestion of using a hair dryer on him to speed up the initial drying - it worked a treat! He still needs a final fluff up, but he's actually in quite good nick even now.

note: that yellow tinge is the lighting in the pic - he's actually as snowy white as could be and not a whiff of mank about him!
