A Good Night In
I normally despair over much of the programming on telly in Australia, but last night was a beauty.
The ABC put on a screening of Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty, and what a feast for the eyes and ears it was!
If you got to see it live, I'm positively green with envy, if you saw it at the cinema, I'm still rather greenish... and if you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favour and do so! I thoroughly enjoyed this in every way and am still hoping it will come to our local arthouse cinema soon, as, if I can't see it live, watching this on the big screen will still be a treat, given by how impressed I was watching it on TV.
The whole production is superb.
