Sorry if I'm spamming, but I know that many people outside of Australia really don't know much about our wildlife other than red and grey kangaroos and koalas - perhaps a few know of wombats too. This documentary focusses on our smaller kangaroo, possum and other marsupial species, how many have been devastated by feral animal predation and what's being done to hopefully protect, repopulate and reintroduce many of these species. On top of that, they're remarkably beautiful little creatures and I'm sure you'll get a few 'awww' moments out of it.

On Feral Cats and Foxes:Feral cats and foxes are a real problem in Australia and many kindhearted but misguided people see the eradication of them as cruel, but if it is done as humanely as possible, then I personally support it. The devastation they cause to our small bird and wildlife population is truly awful - I see it locally quite a lot (we have a big fox and feral cat problem where I live) so speak from experience. I have a cat myself so I'm far from an anti-cat person, but I'm responsible - he's spayed and isn't allowed to wander. Last spring, our local council trapped over 50 feral cats that lived in my immediate area - and that barely put a dent in the local population. We have quite a large fox population too and we've been trying to get the local council to take it more seriously. They mainly rely on local farmers to take care of it, but they can't do it by themselves. I have a mating pair whose territory includes my backyard and while they're beautiful animals, they don't belong here and really do kill a lot of wildlife and also spread disease and parasites to domestic dogs.
