The wild world of EM August
Just a quick blip to let people know how things are going!
First off, if you don't know I own and run the label Bit Riot Records, a full service sub label of WTII Records. Ass is being kicked - look for adds in Synthesis and VF mag the next few months as well as interviews with Cyanotic and mindFluxFuneral in VF mag to boot. I have been having a blast wearing my business hat and negotiating some very exciting things with some heavy hitters in the industry *cough* TVT, Century Media *Cough*. Course the next step is for us to find some new, good, bands and I'm not sure how we will approach that but all in all, things are cool.
I also got a new job working for a Microsoft Subsidiary called Avenue A | Razorfish. It is still doing QA, however I am now an Analyst who can wear whatever he wants to work and start at 10am... and have insurance. Also a bump in salary that will help keep Bit Riot on an expansive path!
