Hullo hullo.
Tomorrow is the last day of week 2 and I think I have it in hand (Last week and O week felt like trying to control a chariot drawn by six flesh eating horses reined in by embroidery floss).
I've got my botanical illustration sketched, researched, compositioned and transfered onto a lovely big piece of 300gms arches paper. Its due at the end of next week (3) - my weekend will be spent figuring out just how to get the colours right for it.
Week five, seven, nine, eleven and fourteen all have major projects like it. (the last ones are two sculptures, one scientific.) Thats ONE of my classes (that is really two units of the course).
The other two are theory (part two - much like part one - the teachers a bit wishy washy) and Professional Practices (glee and trembles with fear [dramatic reverb]).
The prior has a couple of essays (the worst 1500 words) the later involves business idea feasability studies, full blown business plans and risk assessment. Its awesome because its one of the main things I wanted from University - but at the same time - argh! Real world interfering with my happy paint-stuff-existance?!?
I don't want to worry about taxes and indemnities and insurance and image and being ripped off by clients and etc etc etc
Hah...... yus. So its all good. I am on Track... for the moment.

I am also the Seneschal for the College of St Crispin - our Universities SCA college AND treasurer for the Uni Taekwondo club- so I'm learning how to delegate this year. And how to shmooze with the university services staff and plan ahead and poke people... a lot.

I should make myself some new userpics some time soon... the ones I have are all over a year old now.... I've lots drawn (on bus tickets- handy things), I've just never scanned them.
Later.
