Election Time
Apparently the Continental US, Hawaii and the territory of Puerto Rico aren't the only places taking part in the 2008 federal elections. I just read over at Wikipedia this very interesting article about the Northern Mariana Islands. Definitely worth checking out to see what's happening nearly half a world away.
Perhaps the CMNI will be more eager then Puerto Rico to actually join the U.S. as a full state, granted I'm not sure how that would work out for their economy given the current state of the market.
