Back in the very beginning of Lolcats, back before "Icanhascheeseburger" was up, there was a website floating around that had about 10 or 15 of them. Most of them weren't the incorrect grammar jokes, they were just simple phrases like "Invisible bicycle!" and "Ceiling cat is watching you masturbate!" and "Invisible sandwich!" The jokes were the situations of the cats themselves, not the ridiculousness of the quote. I found about 2/3s of those hilarious.
Now I think they're generally stupid. I in general HATE all the stupid anti-grammar jokes going around. I know a lot of my friends like to quote stuff like that when they talk, and the only thing that keeps me from actually walking away in disgust is my belief that they're using it as social satire, and my knowledge that they're actually intelligent despite how they're talking at that moment.
^ This. Like any idea which is widely reproduced, the original product was halfway decent and the flood which followed was utter and complete crap.
Example: TMNT. The original comic was insanely amazingly good. Then it got put out on TV and was kind of crappy, and then spawned a horde of retarded ripoffs trying to get in on some of the ninja cash. Remember kids, every time you come up with a decent idea, somewhere out there Samurai Pizza Cats is waiting to be unleashed on the world.

Granted, it was still a pretty kick ass comic for awhile.

Regardless: retarded merchandising and endless knockoffs.
