The flesh is weak
Shortly after actually handing in my thesis, I caught a two-week flu, the hard drive of my laptop ceased to function more than five minutes in a row, my scanner - which is admittedly over ten years old - is taking ten minutes to start up, and the memory stick backup of most of my stuff fell apart.
"Well, it makes sense, really", said one of my teachers, "finishing your thesis would naturally trigger some stress-related ailments that have been bottling up until now, right?" Indubitably, but I didn't really expect the same to happen to every piece of electronics involved in creation of said thesis.
Oh well. In two weeks or so I'm going to have a fancy piece of paper with eximia cum laude approbatur on it. Yay for that!
