Train, train...
So, I'm going to spend about ten hours sitting in a train tomorrow. Hooray. Well, It beats sitting in a car, I guess, so that's something!
Traveling gets tiresome from time to time, but there's quite a few things about it that I actually like. Certainly I'd be on the wrong field if I hated it. Trains, though, are probably my favourite way of getting around - they're pretty relaxing, occasionally even comfy, and there are upsides to being stuck in a locomotive for several hours with absolutely nothing else to do except read or sleep. I do kind of look forward to that part, as a matter of fact. What I really, really hate is packing, and all the extra fuss of having to get everything done so you can leave for a couple of weeks.
Even so, I think I'd be much happier about spending perfectly good sundays traveling to my next place of work if I was actually being properly paid for it.
