The Sleepless Undeath of Living
Well, we finally have some real snow and temperatures around here. Ahh, how I have missed thee, winter of -15°C! It's so nice to see the ground all white again. Of course, it does throw something of a wrench on my plans to bike to university all winter - I tried it today, and it was a touch more chilly than I prefer for a relatively long biking trip - but overall, it's better this way, I think. I mean, this kind of thing is why scarves and stuff were invented, so I'll live. Mayhap at this rate, a time will come when I will get to unsheathe my sword against snowmen again... within this very year?
And yes, for that matter, university has started in full scale. Between my classes and things I've been drafted for otherwise, on Mondays I'm running around doing something basically the whole time from... 10 AM to 9 PM. Yaaah! I'm still booked into the music academy orchestra and the church demands my allegiance for a variety of musical projects, so I'm suddenly quite pressed for time; I guess I prefer it this way, when it comes down to it, but most of my free time is now spent into keeping up with my course readings. On that note, this is what my courseload looks like now:

*Basics of Archaeological Fieldwork Methods
*Archaeology Thematically
*History and Culture of Mesopotamia II
*Introductory Babylonian
Add a couple of boring obligatory general studies courses, and I'm suddenly pretty much booked for the whole week, so much in fact that I even get conflicts between lessons. All this together, on the gaming front, I'm... pretty much too bogged down to play much of anything really. =E As such, today's gaming news must come from elsewhere. See, this is potentially one of the most squeesome things to come from the great Squeenix in the relatively near future. I mean, for one thing, Animated Agriaaas~! But beyond that, if they went even to the slightest bit of effort to rectify some of the mortal flaws of FFTactics - such as your entire cast ceasing to say anything once they join up with you - it could be the greatest thing ever. Now of course they're not going to do that, because that would just make too much sense, but even so, I'm looking into this, and I don't even own a PSP.
Well... it's not like I'm not going to get some gaming done in the near future. My dad and brother are making nice headway through FFXII, but once they're done, the console will be mine again, I deem. With that and one of my RPG friends deciding that I have to join his band now that I inexplicably can play the guitar - yaaa... I think my sleep schedule just went into a corner and died!
