Yup, Thungs Are Going as Expected...

Feb 15, 2007 12:20

Remember last week, when I posted a little rant about the newly merged NTHell-Virgin and their frankly award-winning attempts to fuck up our account and our day?

Well, it gets better.

I received a letter from them this morning - the first letter that isn't junk mail we've received from them since we moved - dated the 12th February. The letter tells us that we owe them £87 for unpaid services and we'd better pay up soon, or else. This letter is dated a full five days after we paid them £150.

So, phone time.

Cue ten minutes on hold before finally being able to talk to someone... who turns out to be unable to find the payment made last week. More time on hold. Eventually she gets back to me, with the news that she has found the money... and it only paid for the broadband.

Apparently, under NTHell-Virgin's setup, you have seperate accounts for broadband and TV and phone. They are working to merge everyone's accounts... but they just haven't gotten round to ours yet. She can offer no explanation for why this was not explained to us last week, or indeed why we were led to believe we were paying the whole package (broadband, TV and phone) with that £150 when we weren't.

Nick's asleep right now. I'm dreading having to tell his this latest wrinkle in the saga when he wakes up...

ntl, nthell
