In other news, I utterly fail at blood donation. AGAIN. This time I drank enough water and had an excellent phlebotomist, but apparently my blood clots too easily. Good for me, bad for the Red Cross. I was ninety grams shy of a full unit. Three ounces of blood!
When he pulled out the needle, the clot came out with it - it looked like a red string coming out of my arm! He was all "yup. Clot. See?" meanwhile, I maybe freaked out just a little bit. I'm not a fan of seeing stuff that should be inside me outside me.
So next time, plenty of water and an aspirin. I am determined to give someone some blood, dammit.
