yeeeeeEEEEOWWWWCH!
Dang. I was slicin' up the last bit of our homemade pizza from this weekend (:takes deep breath: roasted red peppers, black and green olives, artichoke hearts, roasted eggplant, tempeh, sardines, garlic, cotija cheese, mozzarella cheese, caramelized spanish onions, and a partridge in a pear tree) and somehow managed to TWANG the bejeezus out of my ulnar nerve (a/k/a "The Funny Bone", or what I call "The Unfunny Bone").
I've never felt such a shocking amount of hot, hot not-quite-pain-but-something-equally-shocking run up my arm and coalesce in my twitching, unsuspecting fingers.
Still feels a little on edge now (like "when's it gonna happen again?!?!") but at least I've regained use of my hand.
Jeez. Totally outta left field.
In other, non-my-body-is-falling-apart news, I have Excel 2007 on my machine! How cool is that? Totally, awesomely cool. Unfortunately, no one else has it on their machine, so any bells and whistles I add to any of my analyses are private bells and whistles. Not so cool. Well, privately cool.
(It's been a week of "cool" and "awesome". I think my brain, which is still trying to compensate for a flip-flopped workspace, has shunted expanded vocabulary into deep storage in order to free up more space to deal with the spacial confusion.)
Yup.
