Pain in the ass when the digital cable box you've been paying extra for ever since you moved into your house back in August freaks out & you call Charter to resolve the issue & they tell you that there is no record of you ever having a digital box here at my current location...

It's been working...
Had a technician out for another issue a few months ago...
He got it & all of the other cable stuff in the house... working again...
I've been paying extra for it all this time...
So yeah... no cable in the living room until Wed morning at the earliest...
I could have them come out Tue morning... But, I have to work a split shift 9-12 & then 5-9... which means that I would not be there in the required 8-12 timeslot.
Bleh. Bleh. Bleh.
For my inconveniece they are giving me a lower rate for my service... for 12 months... And I'll have HBO/Cinemax for a month (on top of the Showtime that I already get)... Don't let me forget to cancel HBO/Cinemax by April 11... Otherwise I gotta pay an extra $13/mo for it... and as much as I prefer HBO to any of the other movie channels... That extra $13/mo just isn't in my budget... Sad, but, true... *Le Sigh*
Gotta admit... It will be nice to have my HBO shows again... That's the only reason I had it to begin with... Movies I can rent anytime... But, I love their series & documentaries...
Ummm... Guess I'm rambling on again...
I need to go take my meds again & shower so I won't be a sweaty little monkey anymore...
(The humidifier in my bedroom makes it about 98° F + it's got to be about 99.9% humidity... And while my lungs & my skin are thankful... I gotta say thank goodness for my ceiling fan or the air would be toooo thick to live in! Seriously, it's like a rainforest in there... my sheets & carpet are slightly damp to the touch... LOL)
