Lovely! The phrase "how old he was at eleven" is fabulous, and the sensuality of the second paragraph - mmm.

I echo the above comment with yummm! That made my skin prickle, and the lightning's also a nice metaphor for the power inside Will himself.

Oh, I really love this. This is a lovely encapsulation of an Old One's real power -- not generating lightning, though they probably could, but sensing all the undercurrents of timing and power and sparks struck in the atmosphere -- and of Will at eleven and ancient.
