Fairly Nice Easter Weekend
With how nice its been this whole week I'm a bit surprised that things haven't turned nasty sooner. Its basically been a rather nice week, including weather and temperatures. The only thing that's really going to mess everything up is that it is going to rain in a bit and in the process drag a cold front through the state. That means goodbye to the nice warm weather, the sun and not having to wear light jackets for a while. Damn, and I was actually enjoying that while it lasted. All good things have to come to an end though, and this is the end of that for a while. At least its not going to get really cold and that's what I'm really worried about. I can deal with clouds, rain, and wind but having cold with it? No thank you.
I've had actual time to work on my fanfics and finally got out chapter five of A Quincy's Heart that I've been working on. It wouldn't have taken me nearly as long to get that out if I didn't have several things to do at once. I finally managed to get it out last night because I was on break and I didn't have to worry much about homework. Don't get me wrong, I have homework to do and to worry about still, its just that I don't have to rush to get it finished liek I do sometimes during a regular weekend. Next I'm going to work on finishing Masks and getting that out, then I'm going to start working on chapter six of AQH. I actually have an idea for a FMA Edvy oneshot, so I'm most likely going to be working on that as well. In short, this will definitely be a busy month for me.
Che, the meteorologists said that it was supposed to rain today yet all it has been doing is sprinkling. Where in the hell is the rain at? We really need it, especially with how dry it has been. But no, we go and basically get jipped because we don't deserve the rain. Eh, I'm being a bit overly dramatic but still--we need the damn rain! When are we going to get a good soaking? I don't want to have tow air until my birthday to really be able to have a nice rainy day. If I wait that long it will just be annoying. I also want a good rainy day because when its like that, I tend to write a hell of a lot easier. I miss the rainy days because of that.
If I start to go into all of the things that have gone wrong in my English 300W Class, it would take a hell of a time to do so. Let's just say that I'm pissed at my professor and I'm hellishly glad that I only have three more weeks in that class. I won't have to deal with that class anymore after finals are finished and I can't wait until that happens. I also can't wait because I want to see how much my GPA is going to jump with how well I've been doing this semester. Its going to be one hell of a change between this year and last year that's for sure. I just want to see how big of a change its going to be.
This has been a rather weird day in itself. I couldn't sleep in no matter how much I tried, so I've been up since eleven. I did manage to catch another hour of sleep because I woke up at ten, but that's besides the point. Its been incredibly windy and in the process tree branches, power lines and the like have been falling down all over the place. The power has been a bit sporadic in places, thankfully I still have power at home. It would suck if I didn't. What really sucks about today is that one of the picture bulbs in the living room television blew so there's no watching TV in there until its fixed. Damn, and I was going to watch Pirates Of The Caribbean tonight too. Its probably going to be one of the only things that will be on today at least.
Ugh, I hate this weekend because there's the whole final four college basketball thing going on. I can't wait until its over and shows actually come back to television! I'll finally have something to watch instead of having to watch reruns. Watching reruns can get old rather fast, and I really want to see new episodes of House soon. I just want this month to be over with just because I'll finally be on summer break. There's nothing better than actually being able to stay up because there's nothing that you really have to do in the morning. When I'm like that I tend to play video games and power through them because I can normally stay up the whole night without getting all that tired. Heh, maybe I'll go and do that this summer.
