The Trials of Sumeragi
How unamusing.
I cut out the Sumeragi Uniform only to find out all my dying trials have left me without enough extra fabric to line the over shirt. Furthermore the Purple "stretch twill" has absolutely NO stretch. How do you sell something as "stretch" and it not actually STRETCH?
Note to self:
Not only check the color when ordering materials online, but also check for the elasticity, even if it was labeled as such online.

As to the character I'm blabbing on about:
So what to do? I will line the over shirt with ponte knit, it will add a bit more stability anyways. But to no surprise I have no white left in stock. So I will add that to my list for the fabric store on Monday. I have some purple dye so I will try dying the extra rose pink stretch twill. Hopefully it will work. If not I guess I'll just make do. It only covers from the neck to above the bust so if it doesn't stretch it wont be the end of the world.
EDIT 8:30: White ponte found!
EDIT 11pm: Found a piece of blue stretch twill, dyed it purple as well as the extra pink. One of the two should work. Hopefully it will be dry by noon.
Oh well. I will cut everything else out and start on the outer jacket, at least everything is a go for it!
