ARGGG!!!

it's been a while.
Well i moved to atlanta if you haven't guessed that by now. All is well (grumbles), i'm sewing getting used to the new lifestyle, the air.. the water... I'm finally not coughing and feeling as crappy as I did when i first moved up. It seemed the change in climate was a BIG change for my body having been in the same location for 24 years.
It's nice being here with my sweetie. Waking up and going to bed with him daily. :) The bed is a little small and cramped at moments but not bad, as long as we can keep the apartment cool enough when the summer heat wave hits we will be fine.
I'm already putting ideas together in my head for decorating, nothing HUGE just things I can sew that we can use even when we move.. bed sheets, pillows, curtains, shower curtains.. that sort of thing. Michael likes lime green and I suggested using it as an accent with brown and tan. SHould be fun. Maybe do the shower curtain lime green with brown and tan accents on it, maybe a painted dragon or something abstract on it.
As to my Grumbles...
I WASSSSSSS supposed to be in the Greyhound bus headed to Savannah right NOW. I was SUPPOSED to arrive at 3:10 and spend the week Repainting my parents living and dining room in a Subtle Mardi Gras color theme for mother's day, father's day, there 25 year anniversary, and a thank you for letting me live with you for 2 years... kinda thing.. It's Also David's birthday weekend.. He was going to drive me back next weekend so he could come see the clubs here and such... But alas. I got a call at 10:30 last night asking how costumes were coming for the pageant, I said fine and that I was going out of town in the morning for a week, which I have told her 3 times in the past and she never said anything.... Her reply? OH... well the pageant starts Tuesday, is everything done then? *blinx* Ummm... that date I have is JUNE 25... But the date was off.. a MONTH off. Apparently no one ever thought to give me a correct due date.... Seems that MIGHT have been helpfull... So needless to say here I am. I am going to try to get it all done over the weekend. Maybe try to go down to savannah on the greyhound on monday.. we will see. My parents are out of town until the 31st so i have time to make it down there. I also have $500 in costumes to take down to get paid for. ARGGG...

GOOD NEWS! The faucet that has been leaking for WEEKS has JUST been fixed.. Seems you have to let the maintenance know 3 weeks before something starts messing up to get it fixed.
