I'm thinking about upping my daily word count for Searching, because I didn't do even two-hundred words yesterday, and yeeeeah, I'm nearing the end of my plot thing, but I don't want to drag this out. There's still a lot of words to go. I know what happens if I leave something to work on something else, and I really don't want to leave this hanging

Yeeep. It had stopped snowing two days ago, and the snow was melting - but then it started snowing again. And the buses got cancelled. D: I hadn't known and it was lucky I was able to go to volunteering today.
Yeah, it's been cleared with a shovel. Before it had been cleared, you couldn't tell the difference between the path and the garden bit.
Lots of salt and sand. XDD Shoes with grip. And hope that people have been walking the path you are (but not too many, because it then gets slippy with the snow getting compacted to ice. If there's been salt and sand put on it, but not enough to make it melt the snow starts acting like sand. Which leads to other problems, because everyone walks the same broken path, so you've got this little v-shape to put your feet in that's okay to walk in, but it's not exactly stable and arrrgggh. Yes.)

Ahhh, the most I have is lots and lots of rain (yesterday was pouring). Shoveling snow is such a different lifestyle. XD; Slippery snow sounds dangerous...
