:D Finished typing up Changes - and it's currently ~3900 words. \o/ This'll be the longest chapter/one-shot I've done once it's posted. There's still the [description] to fill, so that'll be another two-hundred words, I guess. And there's some parts which are a little blank.
A couple of places are a bit confusing because of the 'He' 'He' 'He' and the person's he's interacting with is also a guy.
XD So I'd said that I was pleased when I found the Kenshin uses contractions, but when I was typing it up, I wasn't putting them in, keeping the long form in. Partially because Kenshin still talks/thinks formally, and partially because... I'd gotten used to them, I think. XD
I'm happier with the ending now, though I am sad that I couldn't end the fic with Kenshin about to meet Prince. It would have been perfect. But it probably would have doubled the length of the fic. XD;;
I bet I've spelled Sunshine's original name three different ways when I start editing. XD
Let's just say my Author Notes for this is going to be sooo long. XDD
I was rereading the ratings system on ff.net and uh, I think I've been rating my things too lowly? But yeah, the characters swear badly, but not often, so that's okay?
I think I've read too much of slash because I think I was reading too much into what I'd written between Sunshine and Kenshin. Then again, some people see slash when two people look at each other, so I don't know. Or not even met each other. So. Anyway, I wanna have another attempt at romance and see if I can get a better result than 'if you tilt your head the other way, they're just really really good friends'. ^ ^ But I'm not sure who/what to write. ... And I completely blanked on the fact that I write Sunshine/Fairsky. XD;;
But I'd want to write some more development and interaction than that, because there wasn't much that could be done in the space of what, three days. And we haven't seen them since, since that chapter came out. :P And you know, there's no way for me to improve writing relationships unless I actually write them.
