Kill it with fire!

So, this morning I go to the auto mechanics to pick up my car that was towed to said place monday evening. The total charge was $627.08, which includes the manual labor/towing cost/installation of my new starter. I use my fathers account and expected to pay the rest of the total, which would have been about $100 give or take.

Entire amount goes onto the card. Sort of surprised, as we were expecting it not to. So, I drive out of there hoping I will get to work early... Ten minutes later my car's power shuts off. In mid traffic.

Battery works: lights come on, radio works. Wont turn over. Or: wont stay turned over, as a second after the engine starts, it shuts off again. So, while being honked at from various people even though I have my hazard lights turned on-but this is albuquerque we are talking about-these two very helpful-and VERY hunky-fireman come out from the Dion's I happened to stop in front of and push my car into the parking lot.

While in neutral, I happen to turn my key out of curiosity. The engine starts and happens to run just fine. I put my car in park, turn off my car, and start it up again. Engine starts; no problem. I figure that if my car can STILL act up this way, I should drive it since I payed the mechanics to fix my car, not give it a look at and send me on my way.

Pissed. Off. NAO!

Car is back in shop, with the managers word that until they find what is wrong with it, no charges will be made. Boy's mother who happened to be an ex legal/lawyer/law thing of some sort came with me to bitch at the guys. And I cant get my money back for the first charges because the manual labor/installing already happened...

What the fuck ever...

I could go on about how work went-that was a bundle of fun as well-but due to the Privacy Act, disclosing any personal informablah blah blah you know the rest. The "kill it with fire" quote was from at work today with a very troublesome batch I had.
