As i sit here typing this i feel frustrated. But there is a hint of resolve to counter the frustration. So i just recently purchased a guitar tube amplifier kit. Meaning you put it together with solder and wires provied. Needless to say i've spent over 20 hours, easy, the pass 3 days on it. End result. It doesn't work. Won't fire up, the tubes aren't even getting power any more. So i believe somehow i've grounded the transformer. That is the frustration. The resolve is that i think i just need to order a new transformer and spend another 50 bucks. gah. Its very annoying. Maybe if i hadn't order this kit from a "ma and pa" store i wouldn't be having all these problems ( the parts came in plastic bags and there is no directions, just "hints"). Meh anyways wish me luck and hope i won't fry myself. Here is what i've been working of off.
